SDS ENDO APPA PREP AQUA is a 17% EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) solution, formulated with a neutral pH to serve as an effective calcium-binding and chelating agent. It is specifically designed to aid in the instrumentation of root canals by decalcifying the canal walls, making it easier to shape and enlarge the canal with files and reamers. APPA PREP AQUA is also highly effective in removing the smear layer, which improves the adhesion of filling materials, such as sealers.

Directions for use:

Isolate the tooth using the preferred separation technique.
Perform an access opening and identify the root canals.
Fill the syringe with SDS ENDO APPA PREP AQUA and attach a side-vented needle.
Ensure the needle fits snugly to avoid leakage.
Insert the needle passively into the canal, 2mm short of the working length.
Use gentle palm pressure to control the flow of the solution into the canal.
Replenish the solution between subsequent uses of endodontic files.
After cleaning, flush the canal with sodium hypochlorite and distilled water.
Dry the canal thoroughly before proceeding with obturation.
